Sommer is a native of Palm Beach Gardens and is passionate about serving her hometown. Sommer graduated from Palm Beach Gardens High School and subsequently attended University of Central Florida where she earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Pre-Clinical Health Sciences. She went on to complete her Masters of Medical Sciences degree at Nova Southeastern University in Orlando. Following graduation, she underwent a rigorous Physician Assistant fellowship program where she was able to grow even further academically. Sommer has been practicing in dermatology since 2012 in central Florida, treating patients of all ages. She spends her free time with her two beautiful young daughters. You can likely find them enjoying a day at Juno Beach or visiting the turtles at Loggerhead Marine Life Center. While Sommer’s passion for dermatology is apparent from the second you meet her, the love she has for her family is immeasurable.
